Adewale Omoniyi, Innovation Adviser to Ogun Youth Assembly, Shares a Passionate Christmas Message to the Youths

Mr Adewale Omoniyi, the Innovation Adviser to the Ogun Youth Assembly has extended his Yuletide greetings to the leadership and members of the Assembly.
He acknowledged the body’s focus, commitment and extraordinary achievement in their short time of existence. He further noted the assembly level of energy, creativity and dedication is a sure testament that youths generally are ready for leadership, innovation and engagement in meaningful impacting the society.
“In a remarkably short time, you have shown focus, commitment, and extraordinary achievement. Your energy, creativity, and dedication prove that the youth are ready to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful impact on society. Your accomplishments deserve recognition and celebration this festive season.”
He related Christmas to identity as Jesus birthplace, lineage and purpose was never in doubt. He advised them to value their youth and protect it with integrity, noting that identity is the foundation of their strength, character and purpose in life.
“Christmas is a season of identity. Jesus Christ’s identity was never in question. His birthplace, lineage, and purpose remained constant wherever He went. He did not adjust who He was for convenience, gain, or acceptance. This is a lesson for every young leader: know where you come from, value your roots, and protect them with integrity. Identity is not a temporary label; it is the foundation of strength, character, and purpose.”
“Be discerning. Not everyone around you shares your interests or values. When challenges arise, loyalty to your roots, family, and principles will always matter most. Guard your integrity, remain principled, and let your identity guide your decisions.”
He concluded by admonishing them to be courageous and stay true to their character
“This Christmas, may your faith be renewed, your purpose strengthened, and your resolve unshakable. Stay grounded, courageous, and unapologetically yourself, he stated”
