IVERMECTIN IS A PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION.

Ivermectin is one of the most commonly prescribed medications for body itching caused by scabies.
It is commonly prescribed for scabies, lice, river blindness, and some intestinal worm infections.
It is usually taken as a single dose and may be repeated after one week if necessary.
It works best when you take it on an empty stomach usually 1 hr before meal or 2 hrs after meal
“Ivermectin is not meant to be taken daily.”
Using it daily can cause liver injury, and with repeated use, it can cross into the brain, leading to headache, dizziness, and confusion. It is not a supplement for body itching.
Daily or frequent use can also cause drug resistance, meaning it will no longer be effective when you actually need it. In fact, misuse can even cause persistent body itching, similar to what you are trying to treat….more like selling dog just to buy cat.
Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, children below 5 years or weighing less than 15 kg, and people with hepatitis or other liver problems should not take ivermectin except when clearly prescribed with specific instructions on how to take it.
The actual dose of ivermectin is calculated based on age and body weight.
Always see a doctor or pharmacist before taking it, so you can be properly guided and avoid wrong dosing.
