Ambassador Sarafa Isola Joins President Tinubu at Iftar.

In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, a season defined by devotion, reflection, charity, and unity, the Tayese of Egba and Baba Adinni of Ogun State, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR, was among the distinguished personalities specially invited to the Presidential Villa for a Special Iftar (breaking of fast) hosted by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

The gathering at the seat of power in Abuja represented more than a ceremonial Ramadan engagement. It symbolized the enduring partnership between spiritual leadership, traditional institutions, and democratic governance in the pursuit of peace, unity, and national development.

Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR, the erstwhile Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and widely revered as the Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States was honored with a special invitation to the historic Iftar alongside eminent traditional rulers and respected religious leaders from across the country.

His presence at the Presidential Villa underscores his enduring stature as a bridge between faith, culture, diplomacy, and national service. As a revered Islamic leader and prominent Egba son, the Tayese of Egba continues to play a vital role in fostering harmony, dialogue, and moral guidance within Nigeria’s diverse society.

Among them were the Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ọọni of Ifẹ, who also serves as Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria; the Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, and Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas; and the Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo CFR, Okukenu IV, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland.

Also present were the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Adelola Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, and the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, the Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, Ojuromi VI, among other eminent monarchs and dignitaries.
