No Faction in NNPP; Our Leadership Is Recognize by INEC–Olayoku.
NNPP National Secretary Dipo Olayoku has stated categorically that INEC recognizes only one leadership of the party, and anyone can verify this by checking INEC’s website.
He dismissed claims of factionalization, stating that while there may be groups, there is only one NNPP recognized by law.
Speaking on Trust TV, Olayoku emphasized that INEC is the regulatory agency for political parties and the body that determines leadership.
He stated that Dr. Ajuji is the national chairman and he is the national secretary as shown on INEC’s website.
Dipo Olayoku said: “Let me quickly chip in this one because a lot of people talk about faction within NNPP. NNPP does not have any faction.
The laws of Nigeria is very clear. The National Independent Electoral Commission, that’s INEC, is the umpire, is the regulatory agency for political parties and it is the body that determines the leadership of every party.
That is why if you look at the INEC website today you will see the leadership of the party there. So maybe there are groups but as far as NNPP is concerned there’s only one NNPP. INEC has attested to that.
