The Rt. Honourable Abiodun Akinlade, representing Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, stands as a beacon of dynamic leadership, unwavering dedication, and transformative public service.
His recent initiatives to honor and upgrade the status of our traditional rulers across Yewaland, by providing befitting palaces, signal a deeply rooted respect for culture, history, and governance that truly serves the people.
This is a Legacy rooted in Cultural References and Progressive Governance
By prioritizing the upgrading of traditional rulers’ residences, Hon. Akinlade demonstrates a nuanced understanding that cultural institutions are foundational to social cohesion, peace, and development in our communities .
His actions acknowledge that traditional leadership remains a powerful conduit for community resilience, conflict resolution, and local development strategies.
Building befitting palaces is more than architecture; it is a tangible manifestation of respect, legitimacy, and investment in the dignity of our people.
It creates lasting landmarks that inspire pride, encourage tourism, and stimulate ancillary economic activity in the region.
While these initiatives honor local tradition, they are grounded in modern governance principles like transparency, accountability, and sustainable development.
This harmony between heritage and progress is a hallmark of exemplary leadership.
This is a Track Record of Celebrated Initiatives that should be proudly credited to Honourable Abiodun AKINLADE.

The construction of palaces is a signal project that can unlock ancillary improvements—security, infrastructure improvements around the palatial precincts, and increased civic engagement by the people.
Each initiative reflects a participatory approach, where communities are engaged in envisioning and realizing spaces that reflect their heritage while meeting contemporary needs.
Today, Saturday, January 10, 2026, marks another milestone in this remarkable journey.

*Olobi of Ilobi*
In conclusion, I sincerely want to remark that God Almighty has indeed relocated his majestical favours and heavenly blessings in Ogun West Senatorial District with the present dynamic political leadership we are getting and enjoying through Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI, Rt Honourable Abiodun Akinlade, Honourable Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka and Honourable (Engr) Tunji Akinosi .
To me they are doing fantastically well and their achievements so far are indeed unprecedented in our history in the entire Ogun West Senatorial District, despite the fact that we are still asking for more dividends of democracy from them as ordered by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,GCFR, on his Renewed Hope Agenda of Transforming Nigeria into a leading hub of prosperity in Africa in particular and the world at Large.
I therefore used this great historic occasion to appeal to their supporters to *STOP* sowing the seeds of discord among these illustrious sons in the obvious desperate attempts to impress them as their supporters.
These meaningless campaigns of calumny among the supporters have indeed characterised the political atmosphere of Ogun West in recent time because of what these supporters want to be and wants to eat .
This is indeed a show of shame we thought we have thrown behind us.
This is indeed satanic and it is evident that our people have not learnt any lessons from the harrowing experiences of the painful gubernatorial races of the past in Ogun State.
Please watch, these supporters as they rear their heads as the number one ENEMIES of Ogun West in our 2027 gubernatorial Aspirations .
They must be appropriately cautioned to a stand still each time they go berserk and reckless, by attacking others not in their so-called self serving groups .
Our collective interest in Ogun West never matters to these supporters with their conditional supports and pretentious loyalty for their so-called political mentors.(na lie, na the pourrage and the cray fish inside ,not loyalty)
Let us shield our swords and ensure we pursue the unity of purpose WE seriously needed this time around in our quests for the 2027 governorship of Ogun State.
